Nina will be performing and teaching at Art of the Belly Festival in Ocean City, MD.
Nina Amaya is trained in Middle Eastern dance forms, and is director of the marvelous Aubergine dancers and Baltimore's bellydance band, Brinjal.  Nina can bring her own music system, use yours, or perform with a live band. She performs regularly with the Brinjal Band, Ishtar, and other local, national and international musicians.  Read her Google reviews

Nina has performed and taught continuously at events such as the Art of the Belly Festival, The Pittsburgh Bellydance Festival, the New York and Maryland Faerie Festivals, Artscape, Fertile Ground, Darbukastan, and Folk Tours. Nina Amaya performs at birthday parties, retirement parties, weddings, receptions, theme dinners, corporate events and fundraisers.  She tailors her shows for the audience: young, old, Arab, Greek, Indian, Turkish, American audiences all want something a little different, and Nina will make it work!  She performs with her troupe at festivals up and down the east coast, specializing in creatively unique performances for themed events such as Arabian Nights Parties and Faerie Festivals.

Nina Amaya has been studying Middle Eastern dance, or belly dance, since 1997.   Medieval, Renaissance, and fairy costuming is also available.
Whether your special occasion requires one dancer or many, Nina Amaya and her troupe provide the magic that makes your event a success. Each event is custom-tailored, so pricing is based on the individual event. Discounts given for nursing homes and certain charities.
